Can a small country be big in something? With the largest harbor of Europe in Rotterdam, Schiphol as third most popular airport of Europe and high scores in the business and scientific rankings the Dutch know that it is possible. However, less Dutch know that the Middle East has a country which is in size and ambitions the equal of the Netherlands: Bahrain.
During the well-attended business lunch organized by Assarwa at the Chamber of Commerce in Rotterdam Simon Galpin, Managing Director of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, discussed the ambitions of Bahrain as a production hub, financial center and logistical gateway of the Gulf region. He pointed among others to the high quality of living and working in Bahrain with good facilities, low costs and little red tape. He also stressed that the goal of the Bahrain Economic Development Board was to facilitate doing business in Bahrain by offering support to companies and by looking for new ways to improve the business climate of Bahrain.
The words of Dr. Galpin were well received by the representatives from the financial industry, logistics sector and several Dutch manufacturers. Do you want to know which opportunities Bahrain offers your company, please contact us at email@example.com
